Little Music Makers

March 14-18, 2022, 9:30 a.m.-12 noon
March 21-25, 2022, 9:30 a.m.-12 noon

This camp is ideal for those looking to have an exposure to a variety of musical experiences in a fun-filled, friendly, and welcoming environment. The session is broken into short modules, including Orff principles, Introductory Piano Class, and Introductory Percussion. Required Instrument: A xylophone can be purchased for an additional $20 at the time of registration.

Pop Music Makers

March 14-18, 2022, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
March 21-25, 2022, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

This camp is designed to draw the musician out of everyone, whether you have a musical background or not. The session is broken into short modules, including Guitar Class, Introduction to Percussion, Soundtrax, and Garage Band. Each module will focus on exposing children to new and exciting aspects of the music world.

Required Instrument: Guitars are required for participation in the program. These can be rented for an additional $10 at the time of registration.

Music x Coding

March 14-18, 2022, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
March 21-25, 2022, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

Explore a new kind of camp experience that mixes music and coding together! Learn more about the intersection of these topics through creating your own digital games. This interactive, interdisciplinary program is great for creative and strategic minds. Whether your camper’s interests lie in music, coding – or both – this camp will be a blast.

Prerequisites: No previous music or coding experience is required. This camp is most suitable for those with no music instruction, or less than one year of music instruction.

Required Equipment: Bringing an ipad or laptop is required.

Tuning Your Voice

March 21-25, 2022, 9:30-12 noon

If you want to improve your singing voice this summer, this fun-filled camp is for you! Participating in this camp will help students build their confidence, performance abilities, and vocal skills. This group vocal camp, with the use of popular songs, is designed to teach proper singing technique by using the voice in a skillful way to avoid developing detrimental vocal habits at a young age. Staging and acting while singing will be included, as well as dealing with stage fright.
