Gabriel Diaz is a Guitarist Born in Vancouver British Columbia who dedicated his life to music in his late teens. He owes this greatly to his father, who inspired him with music of the 60’s and 70’s; specifically, the Beatles and music of Latin America. After graduating high school, Gabriel proceeded on to post-secondary, completing a 1-year certificate program, followed by a 2-year diploma in music at Douglas College.
Currently, Gabriel is in his 3rd year of the BA program at Vancouver Community College, majoring in Classical guitar and minoring in Composition. Besides his previous studies in jazz and newfound love of classical studies at school, Gabriel writes for, and is involved in several local popular music bands, playing various venues across Vancouver and the lower mainland.

Gabriel also thrives in the local community and enjoys engaging in Vancouver’s growing community of diverse musicians in the lesser-known venues of Vancouver’s Chinatown and downtown east side.
