Piano Soundscape (ages 7 and up)

In these arts-based piano classes, we will learn to create a variety of soundscapes by exploring music, drawing, improvisation, storybooks, and poetry as inspirations to discover our own piano playing and artworks. We will learn to use extended piano techniques, make drawings about our music and piano playing, read storybooks for inspirations, and write poetry to express our own musical ideas. All the music and art making will focus on students’ creative learning process.
