Jee Yeon Ryu
Jee-Yeon received her B.Mus. with Hon. in Piano Performance at the University of Western Ontario and M.Mus. in Piano Performance at the University of Victoria. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate degree in the curriculum studies at the University of British Columbia, specializing in music education.
In addition to her performance and research studies, Jee-Yeon also has over twelve years of teaching experience. Prior to joining the Mozart School of Music in Vancouver, she taught piano, theory, musicianship, keyboard harmony, history, and keyboard literature at the University of Victoria and the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
Jee-Yeon is dedicated to her students and enjoys sharing and exploring music with students of all ages and levels. She will be teaching piano, giving masterclasses and workshops in piano performance, as well as various music appreciation lecture classes.
