Laine Longton, BMus, MMus, DMA(cand)

Laine Longton has been playing cello since the age of 5. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Victoria, a Masters of Music in Performance from the University of Illinois, and is enrolled in the Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of British Columbia. Since 2006, she has been teaching students of all ages and abilities, including teaching privately; as a teaching assistant at the Courtney Youth Music Camp, and as the cello teaching assistant at the University of Illinois where she taught university-level students. Laine loves teaching and believes in a personalized approach for each student.
